"I don’t normally go online to look for interesting articles. I found Twitter to be useful because most of the time, if I had a question, someone else had already had the same question and I could easily find an answer. It gave me an automatic response instead of having to wait until the next class period to ask the question."
"Twitter enhanced my interaction with my peers. It started out as something that I had to force myself to go on and to participate in and then it turned in to an automatic page I went to, like my e-mail or my Facebook. I found myself reading what my other classmates were doing and answering questions for them. I feel that I learned a lot about my classmates; however, I only learned this through their username. I sit in class and I have no idea who just celebrated their birthday or who found an interesting link and posted it because I cannot connect the usernames with the faces that I see in class. I feel that this tool can be used in the future for many things, but mostly, I can see how smart mobs can use this took most effectively. With short and to the point messages, smart mobs can follow as many people as they want and be followed by as many people as they want."
"I thought it was amazing how fast information was transferred and I liked the thought that as soon as I sent something someone else in the class could be reading it and trying to help."
