Tweet backs 4

"Assigning twitter as a class project did not only help us learn more about the different technologies available today, it also helped the class stay connected with, not only each other, but also our teacher. I have never had the opportunity, in my fifteen years of education experience, to instantly send my teacher or classmates a message about an upcoming assignment or problem I was having in class."
"I feel twitter is different than other forms of communication, like blogging or facebook, because there is no need for long paragraphs about your favorite activities or enough character space for you to write a story about your day. I feel this helped students feel more comfortable in doing this assignment because it did not feel like a true school assignment. Twitter became a place for students to state their problems and concerns with the class, post cool links or just socialize."
"On one of the first days of class we were informed about twitter and many students expressed their concerns about who could see what they were writing, who could find them on twitter and if it could be googled. Our teacher did an excellent job of letting us know about all the privacy settings available and how to make your twitter account as private as possible, therefore eliminating all privacy concerns."
