"I mainly used this tool to share interesting news items I found that related to something we talked about in class. I felt that was an extremely good use of the technology as I could quickly post a link right after class that I felt connected to it. I also used it to ask simple questions about the class that other classmates might be able to answer. Finally I used it at times to see if other students in the class had the same complaints I did, at times."

"I wouldn’t be concerned with the twitter community as a whole, just my friends. The problem is I don’t foresee many of my friends logging on to something like this. While it is an interesting tool, I only had one person I knew actually add me during the course of the class, and it was a random acquaintance that only added me because of the Gmail API tie in that allows users to import their address books. To me the public timeline of Twitter, and even the possible uses among friends represents the worst of decontextualized information. The updates are too short to even convey enough information"
